The Procurement Officer is responsible for executing procurement activities based on PRs from R&D; and Production. The role includes obtaining quotations, negotiating prices, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely material delivery to support project and production requirements while maintaining proper documentation and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) received from R&D; and Production departments.
- Obtain quotations from approved vendors.
- Prepare price comparison statements and support cost evaluation.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments to avoid delays in project or production activities.
- Track order status and update PR/PO trackers regularly.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procurement policies.
- Support finance team with invoice verification and payment follow-ups when required.
- Maintain vendor communication and resolve supply-related issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
