The Role
As a Computer Operations Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of current technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance.



You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, control, and operate IBM AS400/iSeries systems, applications, and distributed environments in a multi-vendor setup.
- Execute, manage, and monitor batch jobs using schedulers such as Tidal, Robot Scheduler, and Advanced Job Scheduler.
- Perform job control activities including stopping, restarting, and rerunning jobs, and handle dependency management.
- Analyze batch job failures, perform Problem Determination (PD), and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Monitor system consoles (including MAM console) and handle message queues and alerts effectively.
- Provide first-level support by analyzing system, application, and network issues and resolving or routing them appropriately.
