Engineer / Sr. Engineer – EHS (Environment, Health & Safety)
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) – Mandatory
- Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety / Construction Safety from a recognized institute preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) in construction projects, preferably high-rise residential or commercial building projects

Role Overview
The Engineer / Sr. Engineer – EHS will be responsible for monitoring daily safety practices at the construction site and ensuring compliance with company safety policies and statutory regulations. The role involves identifying hazards, implementing preventive measures, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely.
The position will work closely with project execution teams, subcontractors, and safety supervisors to promote a strong safety culture across the project.
Key Responsibilities
Site Safety Monitoring
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Ensure safe execution of structural works, formwork operations, reinforcement works, finishing works, and MEP installations.
- Conduct routine site safety inspections and hazard identification.
Hazard Identification & Risk Control
- Identify unsafe conditions and potential safety risks at work fronts.
- Ensure implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
- Recommend corrective actions to prevent accidents and unsafe practices.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure workers and subcontractors follow site safety rules, PPE requirements, and protected work practices.
- Monitor compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety guidelines.
- Assist in ensuring safe use of equipment, machinery, scaffolding, and lifting operations.
