ABOUT THE ROLE
As an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)



working on backend systems for API, Personalization & Recommendations (PNR), or Search, you will own backend quality end-to-end across highly distributed, ML-powered systems.
While this is a QA-focused role, it demands solid software engineering skills to build scalable automation, validation frameworks, and quality systems for complex backend and ML-powered platforms.
This is not a manual QA role. The focus is on automation, systems thinking, and quality engineering at scale. You will define test strategies for complex service interactions, build and scale backend automation, and ensure release confidence for high-traffic, production-critical systems.
You will work closely with Backend Engineers, Platform teams, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to ensure correctness, reliability, and early detection of issues, well before they impact users.
