Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Supply Chain / Logistics / Engineering – Preferred
- Diploma or certification in Material Management / Inventory Management is an advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store management and inventory control, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects

Role Overview
The Candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day store operations at the construction site, including material receipt, storage, inventory tracking, and issuance of materials required for construction activities.
The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with procurement and execution teams, and ensuring proper material handling and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Material Receipt & Verification
- Receive materials at site and verify them against purchase orders, delivery challans, and material specifications.
- Assist in preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and maintain proper inward documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material inspection where required.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records of construction materials, tools, and consumables.
- Update stock registers and inventory systems regularly.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Stores Incharge regarding low stock or material shortages.
Material Issuance
- Issue materials to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors based on approved material requisitions.
- Maintain records of material outward entries and consumption tracking.
- Ensure proper documentation for material movement from stores to site work fronts.
Material Storage & Handling
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and storage of materials within the store area.
- Monitor storage conditions to prevent material damage, theft, or wastage.
- Maintain organized and systematic store layouts and material segregation.
