ROLE PROFILE
The GIM Dashboard Team designs, delivers, and maintains advanced Power BI dashboards that provide deep insights into Group Investment Management’s project and portfolio performance, primarily sourced from Clarity and enterprise data platforms. These dashboards are widely used across LSEG by business managers, portfolio leads, project and programme managers, and senior executives. Reporting to the GIM Dashboards Owner, the Senior Dashboard Developer plays a key role in shaping high‑visibility reporting products that support strategic decision‑making at scale.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Dashboard Developer is responsible for building intuitive, scalable, and visually consistent Power BI dashboards to support project and programme delivery and executive decision-making. They will participate in briefing sessions, build prototypes and mock-ups, and refine them into production‑ready dashboards supported by strong data modelling and performance optimisation. Success requires technical depth in BI development, strong analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement skills,



and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑moving setting.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade Power BI dashboards used across GIM and broader LSEG leadership.
- Utilize data science capabilities to inform, improve and optimize data models and dashboard construction.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and produce prototypes (mock-ups, spreadsheets, initial PBIX models).
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to integrate data from the data warehouse, OneLake, or Snowflake.
- Build robust data models, DAX measures, and efficient transformations using Power Query (M).
- Develop ETL scripts to ingest and structure data for reporting, including support for modern pipelines (e.g., Fabric Dataflows Gen2, Databricks, PySpark).
- Optimise Power BI dashboards for high performance, usability, and maintainability.
