Job Purpose: As the Site Security Lead for a coal mine, the primary objective is to ensure the safety and security of the mining operation through strategic planning, surveillance, intelligence gathering, and stakeholder management. This role involves implementing security automation, conducting vigilance activities, coordinating with external bodies, and providing support for legal activities. The Site Security Lead plays a crucial role in safeguarding assets,



preventing theft, and maintaining law and order within the plant premises and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Security Automation:

Implement automated surveillance systems and CCTV for continuous monitoring of the plant area.

Employ automated security measures to control personnel, material, and movement within the mining premises.

Access Control Management:

Establish access control protocols to regulate entry and exit points within the mining premises.

Implement a combination of technical and physical security measures to safeguard critical areas.

Enhanced Surveillance and Vigilance:

Enhance surveillance capabilities through the integration of advanced security technologies.

Monitor plant activities regularly to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats to mining operations.
