Job Objective

The Procurement Executive – Expeditor is responsible for ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, coordinating with suppliers, and preventing production delays by closely tracking purchase orders and expediting critical items.

Key Responsibilities

1) Procurement & Expediting
- Monitor purchase orders (POs) and ensure on-time delivery of materials
- Follow up with suppliers for schedule adherence and dispatch updates

2) Procurement & Expediting
- Expedite critical or delayed shipments to meet production timelines
- Track lead times, delays, and bottlenecks in supply chain.

3) Coordination & Communication
- Act as liaison between suppliers, procurement, production, and stores teams




- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prioritise urgent material requirements
- Provide regular status updates on open orders and shortages

4) Vendor Management
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure commitment to delivery schedules
- Escalate delays and negotiate for faster deliveries or alternate solutions
- Evaluate supplier performance on delivery & responsiveness

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain / Business Administration

Experience
2 – 5 years in procurement / expediting / supply chain roles
