Business Analyst – Role Profile
Role Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst works collaboratively across business and technology teams to analyse, design, and deliver process and system improvements. Operating within a hybrid transformation environment, the role plays a key part in defining requirements, optimising workflows, supporting intelligent automation initiatives, and ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing and stakeholder engagement.
The role supports strategic transformation programmes across the business, including operational re-engineering, service enhancement, capacity creation, automation delivery, and the adoption of AI-powered solutions across the full trading and operational lifecycle.
In addition to supporting AI and automation initiatives, the Business Analyst is expected to utilise AI-enabled tools and techniques to accelerate business analysis, process discovery, requirements gathering, documentation production, testing activities and overall delivery execution while maintaining governance, quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Analysis
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, validate and document business requirements.
- Produce transparent and structured documentation including Process Design Documents (PDDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, business cases, use cases and process maps.
- Analyse current business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for optimisation, automation and AI adoption.
