Job Overview
As a Principal DT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Digital Technology at RTX by leading complex, enterprise-wide projects that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning and governance to execution and delivery—while collaborating with cross-functional teams across RTX. You will manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), drive risk mitigation strategies, oversee project financials, and provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and senior leadership. This is an exciting chance to lead digital transformation initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution excellence.
What You Will Do
- Lead one or more Digital Technology transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery of business objectives on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), project milestones, critical paths, and key performance metrics.
- Drive project governance using the Raytheon Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) operating model, including financial management, vendor coordination, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, and performance while conducting variance analysis and forecasting project outcomes.
- Manage project financials, including Estimate at Complete (EAC) and compliance with capital financial reporting requirements.
- Establish and maintain Risk & Opportunity registers, issue logs, and mitigation plans to proactively address project challenges.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors to align priorities and ensure seamless project execution.
