Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for plant machinery and utilities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, maintaining safety standards, and improving machine performance through effective maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine and utility-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain production machinery, motors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and other plant equipment.
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems, control panels, wiring,
and power distribution systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of utilities such as compressors, DG sets, cooling systems, and water supply systems.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and maintain records of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
- Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and mechanical schematics.
- Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and control systems will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.
