1. He/She will work under the direction and supervision of DM- BS and directly report to him. 2. Work of Biomedical Technicians are directed and supervised by the BE. 3. He/she will keep proper records and logbooks of all the biomedical equipment’s and will report all defects and faults to the CBS. 4. He/she will ensure that the supplies of the equipment’s perform the preventive maintenance and service during the warranty period. 5. He/she will ensure that the suppliers observe the terms and conditions of the annual maintenance contract and conducts preventive maintenance properly and promptly. 6. BE will associate with the clinicians and operators of equipment and help them to operate the equipment carefully and promptly. 7. BE will provide the clinicians all the valuable data regarding the working of their equipment and train the paramedics handling the equipment’s about the safety precautions. 8. BE will liase with the members of the other supporting services and seek their help when necessary. 9. BE will be available on call in case of emergency.
