YOUR TASKS
- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies for the organization.
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices.
- Discover and purchase recent products and check the suppliers' quality of service.
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure the most advantageous terms.
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks related to procurement.
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely and cost-effective delivery of orders.
- Train and supervise junior staff in efficient procurement processes and practices.
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure all operations are in line with legal and company standards.
- Deal effectively with challenges with supplier companies or delivery schedules.
- Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
