Role Description:
The Associate plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day activities of Global Business Services – Record to Report Team (GBS-R2R). Following are some of the key responsibilities of the role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure robust, timely and accurate information is produced in line with IFRS
• Participate in the month-end process;
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements - Balance Sheet, P&L; and identify the risk and opportunities
• To provide Financial awareness and informed decision making across all Business segments within GFBS
• To Prepare a Balance sheet reconciliation on monthly basis and highlight any open item to the Local FBS and Controllership through Open Item Tracker
• Help the management with various Process Excellence and Automation projects by providing insight related to the process




• Interact with group entity VAT leads and maintain the monthly/bi-monthly/Quarterly VAT working tracker
• Preparation of VAT/GST workings for various group entities before the due dates
• Analyse the taxable and nontaxable turnover and finalize the output liability. Impact of amendment/changes in the relevant VAT laws.
• Proactively highlight the challenges if any to resolve the same and ensure the deliverables are provided as per agreed deadlines.
• Client facing experience would be preferred Should be willing to work in UK Shift - 12.30 PM to 9.30 PM India Time
