Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Design Engineer with 15+ years of expertise to lead the design, planning, and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of MEP design standards, codes, and best practices. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale, high-profile projects for India and abroad with focus on transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- MEP Design:
- Lead the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various types of buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure that designs meet client specifications, local building codes, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NEC, Building Codes, IECs etc.).
- Hands on experience in design of systems coming in MEP.
- Providing guidance on design processes and technical challenges.
- Project Management:




- Collaborate with project managers and other design professionals to define project requirements and ensure that design milestones are met.
- Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Coordinate the integration of MEP systems with other architectural and structural disciplines.
- Technical Expertise:
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs for HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP systems.
- Perform system load calculations, energy analysis, and ensure compliance with sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
- Select equipment, materials, and systems, and prepare technical specifications and procurement packages.
- Review vendor submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design documents.
- Preparing the bidding BOQs.
- Prepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance design
