Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all nursing operations across multiple units, ensuring compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC) standards and hospital protocols.
- Manage recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of nursing staff to maintain optimal patient-to-nurse ratios and service continuity.
- Collaborate with clinical leads, hospital administration, and quality teams to implement infection control, medication safety, and patient safety initiatives.
- Oversee daily nursing workflows, including handovers, documentation, equipment readiness,



and incident reporting to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Drive staff development through mentoring, CMEs, skill audits, and career pathway planning to reduce attrition and boost clinical competency.
- Represent nursing leadership in hospital-wide committees, audits, and accreditation readiness (NABH, JCI, etc.), contributing to policy design and continuous quality improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
- B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc. Nursing (with valid INC registration)
- Nursing Superintendent experience in multi-departmental hospitals
- Proficient in NABH/JCI standards and hospital accreditation frameworks
- Strong command of patient safety protocols and clinical governance
- Skilled in roster planning, staff conflict resolution, and workforce metrics
- Expert in nursing documentation, audit trails, and incident root-cause analysis

Preferred
- Certification in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Leadership
- Experience
