Responsibilities
- Perform cyber security reviews and risk assessments for firewall change requests, ensuring alignment with security standards, compliance requirements and least-privilege principles.
- Track and drive remediation of configuration,
policy and security violations.
- Act as Network Security SME and technical escalation point for complex network security matters.
- Drive policy compliance and audit readiness through NSPM tool reporting and workflows.
- Perform security risk assessment and technical reviews of firewall changes involving IT-to-OT and OT-to-IT communications, ensuring compliance with segmentation and security requirements.
- Demonstrate strong familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and vendor-specific firewall CIS benchmarks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to enhance the organization’s security posture.
- Utilize AI tools such as GitHub, Copilot to develop and test automation scripts, Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, Python etc.), and other engineering tools.
