Role: Data Engineer
Location: Offshore (India), Remote
Experience: 6-8 Years

Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, models and integration workflows across contemporary data platforms.
You will work with Snowflake, Dagster, dbt, Python, PySpark, GraphQL and SQL to support reliable analytics and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities
• Data Engineering
- Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations and orchestration workflows.
- Develop data models and reusable patterns using Snowflake, dbt, Python, PySpark and SQL.
- Support ingestion, transformation, validation and publishing of data assets.
• Data Quality & Performance
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation logic and monitoring mechanisms.
- Optimize queries, jobs and pipeline performance for scale and reliability.
- Troubleshoot data issues across source, transformation and consumption layers.
• Collaboration
- Partner with application, reporting and business teams to translate requirements into data
solutions.




- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, code reviews and release readiness.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies
• 6+ years of data engineering experience with modern data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Python and data pipeline development.
• Experience with dbt, Dagster, PySpark or equivalent orchestration and transformation tools.
• Good understanding of data modeling, ELT/ETL patterns and data quality controls.
• Ability to work in Agile teams with strong ownership and communication.

Good to Have
• Exposure to GraphQL or API-driven data access patterns.
• Experience with analytics engineering, semantic layers or reporting platforms.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and automated validation for data pipelines.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data modernization programs.

Must-Have Skills
• Snowflake, SQL and Python data engineering experience.
