This leadership role focuses on creating scalable solutions that improve developer productivity, leverage AI-assisted development, and unlock greater engineering impact without linear increases in headcount. You will operate at the intersection of engineering, platform productivity, product thinking, and emerging technologies, turning complex challenges into measurable improvements. Accountabilities
- Identify recurring friction points across software development lifecycle processes, code-generation workflows, and engineering practices, building a data-driven view of opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate different solution approaches, including building, buying, or adapting emerging technologies such as AI-powered and agentic development tools.
- Design, prototype, and validate technical solutions that improve key engineering productivity metrics and deliver sustainable impact.
- Review architectures and technical approaches directly to assess whether proposed solutions are scalable, effective, and durable.
- Build and manage a high-performing engineering team or operate as a hands-on working manager focused on maximizing technical impact.
