Job Profile
- BOARD FUNCTION :
- Handling patient queries & apply the proper telephone etiquette to satisfy various Patient / relatives as per the need.
- Apply appropriate actions to effectively control a telephone call.
- Answer telephone call within 3 rings.
- Providing appropriate information on all hospital facilities and services.
- OPD Appointment booking & scheduling
- Use an effective approach to handle special telephone tasks like call transfers, taking messages, call backs, holds, interruptions, and unintentional disconnects
- Display Time flexibility towards shifts as per work flow requirements
- To keep record updated with Doctors leave & the reschedulings/ cancellations.
- Use the most appropriate way to communicate with different behavior types on the telephone.
- Apply the elements of building positive rapport with different types of Patient / relatives over the phone.
- Use questioning and listening skills that support effective telephone communication.
- To handle the other duties as assigned.




- Report to the Supervisor on any non – routine situations.
- PRINCIPLE PESPONSIBILITIES :
- Keeping all necessary updates related to the department.
- Responsible for giving all information to the senior on day to day activities and any other incidents occurring in the department.
- Ensure highest level of patient care.
- Should be willing to assist / advise colleagues when called upon or in emergency.
- To take active participation in the trainings
- Good Listening skill.
- Encourage regular intra and inter departmental interaction.
- Identify voice skills and how to enhance a good telephone presentation.
- To handle other duties as assigned.
- SAFETY :
- Training in Fire safety measures.
- Training in Medical emergency (Code BLUE).
