Description
As the Credit Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the credit strategy and operations of the Vishwas-Credit department. Your primary focus will be to ensure the department's credit policies and procedures are aligned with the bank's overall objectives and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of credit analysts and underwriters, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures that align with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee the credit analysis and underwriting process, ensuring accurate and timely assessments of credit applications.
- Manage and mentor a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support to enhance their decision-making skills.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as risk management and legal, to ensure a holistic approach to credit management.
- Monitor and analyze credit portfolio performance, identifying trends and potential risks, and implementing strategies to mitigate them.




- Build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, business partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the department's credit practices remain current and compliant.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to credit management.
- Provide periodic reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key credit-related metrics and performance indicators.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required, with a preference for a master's degree in finance or credit management.
