- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly closing processes, including reconciliations of bank, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/AS) and tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including GST, income tax, and other statutory filings.
- Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage vendor and client invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and audit trail evidence.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP) efficiently to streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and budget tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data at all times.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of skilled experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate or firm environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Strong understanding of Ind AS, GST, and income tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced workplace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
