Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute material requirement planning (MRP) based on production schedules and BOM.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, consumables, and sub- assemblies.
- Coordinate with purchase, stores, production, and vendors to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to meet production and cost targets.
- Track material consumption, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Release purchase requisitions as per planning requirements.
- Handle material shortages, excess, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Support production planning for new projects and engineering changes.
- Maintain accurate material master data and BOM in ERP system.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly material planning and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of BOM, MRP, inventory control
- ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / Tally / ERPNext etc.)
- Valuable analytical, coordination, and communication skills
