Factory Medical Officer (FMO) – AFIH Certified

Qualification

• MBBS from a recognized institution

• AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) Certification – Mandatory

Registration

• Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

• Minimum 5 Years of Experience as a Factory Medical Officer / Occupational Health Physician / Industrial Medical Officer

---

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Occupational Health Centre (OHC) at the project site

• Provide primary and emergency medical care to employees

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and statutory medical examinations

• Handle occupational injuries and workplace health emergencies

• Ensure compliance with the Factories Act and Occupational Health & Safety regulations

• Maintain employee medical records and health surveillance reports

• Conduct health awareness programs, wellness initiatives, and safety training





• Coordinate with EHS, HR, and project management teams

• Liaise with nearby hospitals and emergency services when required

• Ensure compliance with Tata Electronics' health, safety, and medical protocols

• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Industrial Medicine

• Excellent emergency response and clinical decision-making skills

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
