Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering (any stream) or HR, Business Administration,
or any relevant field
MBA in HR is
preferred
Years of Experience
3 – 6 years of experience in recruitment (manufacturing/industrial
hiring mandatory)
Proven experience hiring for:
· Factory/plant roles
· Engineering and technical
positions
Experience in startup or high-growth hiring environment is a plus
Position Summary
We
are looking for a strong Recruiter with industrial/manufacturing hiring
experience to support rapid team building for our EV manufacturing plant
in Chennai. This role will focus on hiring across plant operations,
engineering, and support functions in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key
Responsibilities
1. End-to-End
Recruitment
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing,
screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Handle hiring for roles such as:
- Facility Manager, Maintenance or
production Engineers
- Production, Quality, Supply Chain
- EHS,
Admin, and support staff
2. Sourcing &
Talent Pipeline
- Source candidates through job portals
(Naukri, LinkedIn), consultancies, and referrals
- Build strong pipeline for manufacturing
and shop-floor roles
- Conduct market mapping in Chennai/Tamil
Nadu region
3. Stakeholder
Management
- Work closely with hiring managers to
understand role requirements
- Provide insights on candidate
availability, salary benchmarks, and hiring timelines
4. Screening &
Evaluation
- Conduct initial HR screening and
coordinate technical interviews
- Assess candidate fit for startup and
factory setting
5. Offer &
Closure
- Manage offer rollout, negotiation, and
candidate closure
- Ensure smooth onboarding and joining
process
6. Recruitment
Operations
- Maintain recruitment trackers and reports
- Ensure compliance with hiring processes
and documentation
