Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Production Design Engineer to support furniture and interior manufacturing operations through production detailing, BOM management, and manufacturing coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sheet metal fabrication, modular assemblies, and production design, ensuring smooth conversion of design concepts into production-ready outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert approved GA drawings into production-ready drawings, fabrication drawings, and PDOCs.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing.
- Support material planning and ensure production readiness.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, and NPD teams for seamless project execution.
- Resolve production-related issues involving drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to standard design practices, manufacturing guidelines, and modular assembly requirements.
- Optimize production documentation to improve manufacturing efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Solid experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in Production Design and Production Detailing and drawings.
- Expertise in BOM Creation and Management.
- Experience in Furniture Design and Manufacturing (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Modular Assemblies and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of material planning and production coordination.
