Role Description:
The Associate Software Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to join a fun, innovative engineering team within the AI & Data Science (AI&D;) organization. You’ll work on next-generation capabilities and services in Applied AI & Automation using creative COTS products, open-source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services. The role also emphasizes demonstrating these capabilities to support critical business operations and initiatives, in ensuring quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen’s Applied AI & Automation Footprint.




The Associate Software Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting backend APIs, services, and full stack applications that power internal product capabilities. This role focuses on designing, building, testing, and maintaining modern software components that integrate with enterprise platforms and product ecosystems. The engineer will work closely with architects, product managers, designers, and peer engineers to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical goals.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend APIs and services that support product features and enterprise integrations.
