Job Title: Safety Officer

Reports to (job): Manager – B&I;

Ø Purpose of Position
- The purpose of this position is to ensure that all project activities are executed in full compliance with established Health, Safety,



and Environmental standards, in line with company policies, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Major Responsibilities
- Ensure effective implementation of the contractor’s Environment, Health, Safety, and Environment (EHSE) plan across all project activities.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workforce and visitors.
- Monitor compliance with statutory EHS requirements, including: * Proper use of PPE.
- * Work permit system adherence (hot work, confined space, electrical, height work, etc.).
- Waste management and disposal in line with environmental norms.

Occupational health and hygiene practices.
- Record and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses; ensure timely investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
