Description
The Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (RRQA) team is responsible for providing governance and oversight of AMEX’s regulatory reporting processes, with a focus on proactively identifying risks and control improvement opportunities to ensure reports remain accurate, complete, and compliant. This is achieved through Quality Assurance reviews, which include the following pillars:
- Process and controls testing
- Validation of reported data against regulatory instructions
- Detailed analysis and testing of underlying data to ensure data quality

This work is increasingly enabled by continuous monitoring and advanced analytics to enhance risk identification and coverage. The team partners closely with Regulatory Report owners, Technology, Data Governance, and other stakeholders to strengthen the control environment, drive timely remediation, and evolve capabilities through the use of innovative tools, including emerging analytics and GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities
Participate as a key member of the RRQA Analytics & Insights team by supporting the design,



development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of data analytics that strengthen the RRQA program. A QA Financial Analyst – Analytics & Insights will leverage data, technology, and emerging capabilities (e.g., GenAI) to develop scalable analytics that provide meaningful insights, improve QA effectiveness, and help identify risks proactively.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of financial services processes, system infrastructure, and risk and control frameworks, along with solid analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills. Specific responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain data analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Regulatory Reporting QA program.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, control gaps, and emerging risks that provide actionable insights
