Role Purpose
Lead and manage the end-to-end R2R function within Finance Shared Services, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting, strong governance over reconciliations, and compliance with statutory and internal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliations & Controls
- Oversee critical reconciliations including Bank Reconciliation and Security Deposit Reconciliations
- Ensure timely resolution of exceptions, aged items, and unreconciled balances
- Drive strong control setting and audit-ready documentation
- Statutory & Compliance Reporting
- Manage GST reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to timelines
- Support audits and regulatory requirements
- Month-End Close & Accounting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities
- Oversee preparation and posting of journals, provisions, and accruals
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of month-end schedules and balance sheet substantiation
- Advances, Provisions & Accounting Oversight
- Monitor and control advances, provisions, and key accounting entries




- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and standards
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of ~8 R2R professionals
- Ensure workload planning, productivity, and capability building
- Process Governance & Improvement
- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in R2R processes
- Stakeholder Management
- Interface with business, auditors, finance and circle teams, and leadership
- Provide insights on reconciliations, and risks

Key Requirements
- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance (preferred)
- 15+ years of experience in R2R / Shared Services / Controllership
- Strong exposure to reconciliations, GST, and month-end close processes
- Experience managing teams and driving process improvements
- High attention to detail, control mindset, and problem-solving skills

Success Metrics
- Timely and accurate month-end closure
- Zero/low aged reconciliation items
- Compliance with GST and audit requirements
