Data Cleaning Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Cleaning Associate to review, correct, organize,

and maintain accurate data across spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems. The

ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and
the ability to identify inconsistencies and improve data quality while coordinating data-

related requests from U.S.-based entities and teams.

Key Responsibilities

⢠Review and clean raw data from multiple sources

⢠Identify and correct errors, duplicates, and missing information

⢠Standardize data formats and naming conventions

⢠Validate and verify data accuracy before updating systems

⢠Maintain organized records in Excel, Google Sheets, and databases

⢠Generate reports on data quality and completion status

⢠Coordinate and process data requests received from U.S.-based entities/clients

⢠Ensure timely ordering, arrangement, and delivery of data as per U.S. entity

requirements

⢠Use Excel formulas and automation techniques to improve efficiency and ensure





speedy data cleaning

⢠Calculate employee salary, pay, and compensation details based on annual salary

and other salary components

⢠Verify payroll-related calculations for accuracy and consistency

⢠Ensure confidentiality and security of company data

⢠Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity

⢠Manage and organize PDF documents using Adobe Acrobat

Required Skills & Qualifications

⢠Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

⢠Robust knowledge of Excel formulas, functions, filtering, sorting, lookup formulas,

and automation techniques

⢠Ability to use formulas efficiently to automate repetitive tasks and improve data

cleaning speed

⢠Good knowledge of salary calculations, payroll structures, annual salary

breakdowns, incentives, deductions, and other compensation components
⢠Ability to accurately calculate monthly, bi-weekly, or hourly pay based on annual
