Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Game Level Designer to join our development team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in core gameplay-driven level design, with a proven ability to craft immersive, balanced, and performance-optimized levels aligned with the game’s vision and mechanics.

Responsibilities

· Design, prototype, and implement high-quality game levels that support core gameplay mechanics, narrative flow, pacing, and player engagement.

· Translate GDDs,



gameplay systems, and design pillars into functional and immersive levels.

· Block out levels using greyboxing/whiteboxing techniques and iterate through playtesting and feedback.

· Ensure gameplay balance, difficulty progression, player guidance, and clear visual language across levels.

· Collaborate closely with Artists, VFX, SFX, and tech teams to align gameplay with visual and technical constraints.

· Optimize levels for performance, memory usage, and scalability across target platforms.

· Conduct regular playtests, analyze player behavior, and refine levels based on data and qualitative feedback.

· Document level design workflows, layouts, logic, and best practices for internal alignment.

· Support QA in identifying and resolving level-specific bugs, exploits, and flow issues.
