Design, develop, and maintain solutions on the Ciena Blue Planet Inventory platform.

•Perform Blue Planet Meta-Modeling for service, resource, product, and network domains.

•Develop and customize Blue Planet SIF (Service Information Framework) components and integrations.

•Implement and manage Service Inventory and Resource Inventory models.

•Design and maintain Network Inventory Models, including logical and physical inventory structures.

•Work on LNI (Logical Network Inventory) and PNI (Physical Network Inventory) modelling and implementation.

•Create and maintain resource specifications, relationships, associations, and lifecycle management workflows.

•Collaborate with architects, OSS/BSS teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into inventory solutions.

•Integrate Blue Planet Inventory with external systems through APIs, messaging frameworks, and data synchronization mechanisms.

•Support inventory data migration, reconciliation, validation,



and performance optimization initiatives.

Required Skills

•Robust experience in Ciena Blue Planet Inventory development.

•Hands-on expertise in Blue Planet Meta-Modeling.

•Experience with Blue Planet SIF (Service Information Framework).

•Deep understanding of Service Inventory and Resource Inventory concepts.

•Experience in Logical Network Inventory (LNI) and Physical Network Inventory (PNI).

•Knowledge of telecom network technologies such as FTTH, IP, MPLS, Ethernet, Optical, or Mobile Networks.

•Experience with Network Modelling and inventory data relationships.

•Strong understanding of OSS/BSS architecture and inventory management principles.

•Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and system integrations.

•Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and telecom inventory databases is preferred.
