To audit the technical and functional viability of products supporting project teams in order to achieve cost, quality and time goals established by the management of the company, and contribute to designing and following up on Technological Road Maps.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Study the technical feasibility of the products to make bids.
- Detect potential needs in patentability cases, and if necessary, apply for them.
- Be at the cutting edge in the technological area.
- Detect potential needs in patentability cases or patent infringement risks.
- Design and document high- performance software algorithms, handle errors, and exception conditions.
- Recommend, develop, and implement software development standards and methodologies.
- Assist in code reviews and training for software development staff.
- Lead design discussions and participate in system evaluations and software improvements.
- Provide technical leadership for the entire software development lifecycle.
- Identify appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification.
- Record software architecture in a software architecture document.
- Maintain and improve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies.
- Consider / create the related Technical Project Risk Management plan.
- Provide supporting information to the Engineers to aid in the creation of a software specification.
- Assist Software Designer/Implementers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
- Participate in the software specification review process to ensure that software requirements can be translated into valid software architecture.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation,
