Position

ITI Technician / Operator (Wiring Harness Manufacturing)

Location

Ahmedabad, Gujarat (current openings)

Qualification Required

ITI passed in Electrician, Fitter, Wireman, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Turner, Instrumentation, or relevant trade
10th or 12th pass with ITI certification
Freshers and experienced both can apply

Key Responsibilities

Operate pneumatic crimping machines for wiring harness assembly
Cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires as per IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards




Assemble connectors, terminals, and sleeves according to engineering drawings
Perform quality checks using pull testers, crimp height gauges, and continuity testers
Ensure 100% compliance with safety and work instructions
Support in process improvement, line setup, and preventive maintenance
Maintain records of daily production, inspection, and machine logs
Assist engineers in recent product development (NPD) and first article (FA) approval

Skills Required

Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical assembly
Ability to read wiring diagrams and harness drawings
Hands-on with tools and machines (wire stripper, crimping press, soldering iron, multimeter)
Understanding of quality standards, 5S, Kaizen, lean manufacturing
Team player with a focus on productivity and accuracy
