Role Description The Gastrosurgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic conditions in a full-time, on-site capacity in the Kutch district. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, performing diagnostic evaluations, planning treatment,



and carrying out elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgeries. The role involves pre-operative and post-operative patient management, participation in clinical case discussions, and collaboration with anesthesiology, radiology, and internal medicine teams to ensure integrated care. The Gastrosurgeon will also contribute to infection control practices, clinical documentation, and adherence to hospital protocols and national clinical guidelines. Participation in quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and occasional on-call duties for emergency surgical cases is expected.
Qualifications

Advanced training in gastrointestinal surgery with solid skills in open and minimally invasive procedures, including elective and emergency GI surgeries.
