The Application and Sales Engineer is responsible for the promotion of BAC products, applications and drive sales across region. This role requires frequent regional travel and close collaboration with sales teams, distributors, consultants, and end users.
The person ensures BAC is strongly positioned in the market by delivering technical product presentations, supporting key project stakeholders, responding to technical and commercial enquiries, and recommending optimized solutions to meet customer and project requirements. The role also supports customers during the full project lifecycle, from pre‑sales concept development through post‑sales execution.
In addition, the Application and Sales Engineer acts as a technical coach and knowledge partner to distributors and sales representatives, strengthening their technical competence and enabling effective pre‑sales and solution‑selling activities.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Market Education / Marketing Support
Promote and present BAC solutions to design consultants,
end users and other key influencers in collaboration with the local sales team and representatives.
Keep track of frequently asked questions or product features, report this to the regional marketing team for future innovations and product developments.
Contribute and support with promotional activities such as tradeshows, seminars, conferences, etc…
Support the APAC marketing team with specific tasks such as competitive analysis and the creation of current or updated sales presentations.
Conduct and deliver technical seminars to consultants and design institutes. Build good relationships with key consultants, promote the company brand, and create a technology - driven corporate image in the market.
Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support
Lead or participate at bid clarification meetings.
Train the salespeople and distributors to become capable at delivering product presentations and using sales tools by themselves.
