Role Description The Consultant Dermatologist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosing and treating medical and cosmetic skin and hair conditions, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing dermatological and minor cosmetic procedures, prescribing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves counseling patients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications,



and realistic expectations, while maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to clinical protocols. The Consultant Dermatologist will collaborate with clinic staff to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and patient experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Akera Health clinics in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Medicine and Dermatology, including diagnosis and management of a broad range of skin and hair disorders.
Clinical expertise in dermatological conditions, with a focus on long-term, evidence-based treatment strategies.
Proficiency in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology, including safe performance of non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures.
Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB/Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent specialization; valid medical registration and licensing.
