Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform the melting, refining, and processing of steel following documented procedures, industry standards, and detailed work instructions to ensure high-quality output.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date log sheets, documenting all production activities and noting any non-compliances or deviations for review.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of equipment, machinery, and personnel within the assigned work area, following all safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Support Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives to ensure compliance with environmental standards and sustainability practices within the section.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain production targets.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and processes, identifying potential hazards or maintenance needs proactively.
