Key Responsibilities:
- Execute timely repair of machines and equipment to minimize production downtime.
- Allocate daily work and track breakdown status to ensure productive workflow.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the maintenance area at all times.
- Ensure safety and discipline among workmen during maintenance operations.
- Update maintenance documents and records in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance as per defined schedules and plans.
- Monitor machine performance, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions for breakdowns.
- Prepare requisitions for purchase/repair orders and generate stores pick slips.
- Report any non-conformities to the sectional head promptly.
- Collect and document maintenance-related data and ensure proper shift handover.
- Maintain safety standards for both equipment and personnel during maintenance activities.
- Support and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Environmental Management System (EMS) initiatives within the section.
