Role objective : To oversee and optimize end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, distribution, and last-mile delivery, ensuring cost efficiency, service excellence, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Operations Management
Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.




Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
Monitor daily dispatch planning, route optimization, and delivery schedules.
Oversee 3PL/4PL service providers and transporter performance.
Warehouse & Distribution Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse teams for inventory movement and dispatch readiness.
Ensure adherence to FIFO/FEFO and inventory accuracy.
Handle coordination between multiple distribution centres and plants.
Cost Optimization & Budget Control
Analyse logistics costs (freight, warehousing, handling).
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficiency initiatives.
Prepare and manage logistics budgets and forecasts.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain relationships with transporters, vendors, and logistics partners.
Negotiate freight rates and service contracts.
Collaborate with procurement, planning, sales, and finance teams.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track KPIs such as O
