Job Purpose:

To lead end-to-end land acquisition, land aggregation, government liaison, stakeholder engagement, and statutory approvals for Wind, Solar, Hybrid, and BESS projects across South India, with primary responsibility for Karnataka. The role is accountable for ensuring timely availability of encumbrance-free land to support project execution while maintaining solid relationships with landowners, government authorities, consultants, and local communities.

Job Context & Major Challenges:

The role operates in a dynamic renewable energy environment where project success depends on timely acquisition of large contiguous land parcels across multiple districts and villages.
Major challenges include:





Securing large land parcels under aggressive project timelines.
Managing negotiations with multiple landowners and aggregators.
Handling complex land records, title verification, and statutory approvals.
Liaising with Revenue, Forest, Registration, and local government authorities.
Resolving land disputes, Right of Way (RoW), and community-related issues.
Supporting transmission corridor acquisition and grid connectivity requirements.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring governance and compliance.

The role requires a seasoned land acquisition professional with deep understanding of Karnataka land laws, strong government liaison capabilities, and proven leadership in renewable energy land acquisition.
