Position Title: PLM Engineer
Department: Product Development
Reports To: Director – Product Development
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

We are seeking a PLM Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Siemens NX, and Teamcenter to support global product development activities. The role involves 3D/2D modeling, Sheet Metals, drawing, plastic and casting component design, engineering change management, product data maintenance, and collaboration with global engineering teams for connector and cable assembly products.

Key Responsibilities
Manage product data, BOMs, and documentation in Teamcenter.
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX.
Support Change Requests (CR), ECN/ECR, and product lifecycle management processes.
Work closely with global design teams to execute design changes and product updates.
Apply GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis, and mechanical engineering principles.
Ensure designs comply with company and industry standards.
Participate in design reviews, project meetings,



and KPI tracking.
Support continuous improvement and product maintenance activities.
Qualifications
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in PLM, Siemens NX, and Teamcenter.
Good understanding of engineering change management processes.
Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals.
Strong communication skills and experience working with global teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience in connector, cable assembly, or wiring harness design.
Knowledge of IP sealing concepts and product development processes.
