About the Role
The SAP Basis Expert will be responsible for managing the SAP platform and integrated tools, ensuring optimal performance and security while coordinating with various stakeholders on maintenance tasks and improvements.

Responsibilities
Own Basis Business as Usual Activities for SAP platform and integrated tools.
Build technology roadmap for basis initiatives and improvement action plans to provide sustainable SAP platform.
Coordination and interactions with Infrastructure team (T-Systems)



and any stakeholders of projects related with SAP Basis Maintenance tasks, like SAP upgrades, System Refreshes, and any other activities related with implementations which requires SAP Basis expertise.
Develop expertise on SAP technologies and procedure, review system performance statistics, perform configuration modifications and fixes.
Review complex problem situations and identify preventive measures / improvements to processes, procedures or tools, and implement these as required. Follow-up RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all operational security and emergency procedures.
Ensure a way to solve security issues in SAP Landscape.
Creation, planning and modification of cutover activities for Upgrades, Refreshes, and basis platform tasks.
Configure and define archiving objects in SAP system.
Maintenance of Central SAP Logon entries, certificates, SSO and Webdispatcher to be
