Overall Purpose of The Job
The Vetting Programme Lead holds overall accountability for the strategic leadership, governance, performance oversight,
and continual improvement of all Vetting-related activities managed within the Operations Support Centre (OSC) across all Business Units (BU’s).
The role acts as the senior-most Vetting focal point within the OSC, providing expert leadership and operational direction to Vetting Leads, Vetting Officers, Fleet Cells, and senior stakeholders on all matters relating to:
SIRE 2.0 inspections
RightShip performance
Oil Major relationships
Vessel acceptance and rejection management
Commercial vetting exposure
OCIMF compliance readiness
Vetting risk management
Inspection preparedness and escalation management
The Vetting Programme Lead shall ensure vessels managed by the Company are presented to Oil Majors, charterers, and external stakeholders in a commercially acceptable condition, minimizing the risk of vessel rejection, commercial exposure, repeat observations, or reputational impact.
