MTS SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Functional Safety Engineer with strong expertise in Automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262) to drive the development of safety-critical software and firmware solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements management, software architecture, safety analysis, tool qualification, and assessment support.

Key Responsibilities
Define, manage, and maintain software safety requirements in compliance with ISO 26262.
Develop and review software architecture and design to ensure adherence to functional safety requirements.
Perform and support safety analyses, including:
Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Dependent Failure Analysis (DFA)
Freedom from Interference (FFI) analysis
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 software development process
