Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Business Impact
Build enterprise AI and data science capability from 0 → 1 — data platforms, governance, and adoption.
Define and execute an AI roadmap aligned to business priorities (growth, cost, sustainability) and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
Deliver measurable ROI through high-impact use cases: pricing optimization, demand forecasting, manufacturing yield improvement, and supply chain optimization.
AI/ML Solution Delivery
Architect, develop, and deploy production-grade ML models (predictive and prescriptive), GenAI and RAG applications, and computer vision solutions for quality inspection in glass manufacturing.
Lead deployments using up-to-date MLOps practices — model monitoring, versioning, CI/CD,
and lifecycle management — preferably on Databricks.
Data Platform & Engineering
Partner with IT to design scalable data pipelines, lakehouse architectures, and cloud-based AI platforms.
Ensure data quality, governance, and security across systems.
Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a high-performing data science team.
Drive cross-functional programs spanning Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, and IT; partner with CXOs and external consultants on enterprise transformation.
Enable global delivery with distributed teams and vendors across India and international business units.
