Job Description
AECOM is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Heavy Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design,



integration, and implementation of major mechanical equipment for hydroelectric power plants and water retention structures, both for new developments and for rehabilitation and modernization projects. The systems involved include, but are not limited to, gates and stoplogs, trash racks, lifting mechanisms, winches, overhead cranes, material handling systems, as well as associated auxiliary equipment.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team composed of engineers, technicians, and project managers, contributing to the delivery of complex projects across Canada and, occasionally, internationally. You will also work closely with other engineering disciplines (civil, electrical, structural), architects, suppliers, and specialized consultants.
