Assistant Team Leader
Educational Qualification:
Graduate in Civil Engineering
Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in construction supervision and/or Quality Control
Proven experience in urban infrastructure projects, including one or more of the following:
Water Supply Systems
Sewerage Systems
Storm Water Drainage
Roads
Bridges
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist the Team Leader in overall planning, coordination, and supervision of project activities
Oversee construction supervision and ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and contract conditions
Monitor quality control procedures and ensure adherence to relevant standards and codes
Review contractor’s work programs, method statements, and quality assurance plans
Supervise site activities related to water supply, sewerage, drainage, roads, and bridge works
Coordinate with contractors,



consultants, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues
Ensure timely progress of works and assist in identifying and mitigating project risks
Review and certify measurements, interim payment certificates, and work completion reports
Support the Team Leader in preparation of progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory requirements at site
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of construction supervision and quality assurance practices
Familiarity with urban infrastructure standards and specifications
Valuable leadership, coordination, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple work fronts and resolve technical issues efficiently
