To provide accurate eye examinations, prescribe appropriate vision correction, assist patients in selecting suitable eyewear, and ensure excellent patient care while supporting optical sales.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and refraction.
Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses based on patient needs.
Interpret prescriptions and recommend suitable lenses and frames.
Educate patients on eye care, lens options, and proper eyewear use.
Assist patients in selecting frames that suit their vision and lifestyle.




Ensure accurate fitting, dispensing, and adjustment of spectacles.
Maintain patient records and update clinical documentation.
Coordinate with ophthalmologists for further evaluation when required.
Achieve optical sales targets while maintaining high patient satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of optical equipment.
Follow hospital policies, quality standards, and infection control guidelines.
Participate in training and continuous career development.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom)
Valid registration/licensure as applicable.
